UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center is one of only 40 National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the United States. This designation is reserved for centers with the greatest achievements in cancer research, clinical care, education and community partnerships. Studies show that outcomes are better at NCI-designated centers.
